GOD, THE ULTIMATE SCULPTOR

The more I go on in this life, the less I feel I know, or even care about knowing. Because, in truth, there is only Knowing that really counts in the long run. Which is that inner God Knowing.
After that every other pursuit to ‘know’ something or another kind of gets lost in translation and loses quite a lot of appeal. At least it has for me.

The revelation in Knowing is a gift from God too. That ultimately God is both the inspiration and fuel in each and every endeavor we all make in Life. Whether a striving for inner advancement or any and all worldly pursuits.
Neither of them is good or bad or better or worse than each other. It’s just the way each soul is wired in its relationship with God and what subsequently impulses each being.
You could say we are all God’s point of progress.

Right now I’m feeling that all and the only thing I desire is God’s will and desire for my life. Yes, I have a few dreams of my own, but all pales into comparison when it’s His will alone that I wish be done.

Every day I effort to do the best I can and make choices for myself that are for the highest possible outcome. I’ve struggled much, but never given up. Whether I’ve reached my mark or not, remains to be seen.
Each part of the many facets we are and the many levels and aspects of our beingness is all God given, anyway.
I’ve made my peace with that. So I believe I’m ready for anything at all. As He sees fit to give me to fulfill upon His life through mine...or not.

A recent Heavenletter mentioned perception and attachment as being the greatest interferers in a life (or words to that effect) and I’ve realized recently the immense value of living in this state called detachment to hone in on God, as it were.

And how can we be attached to anything or anyone or any condition or circumstances anyway, when we are constantly being what we are: God’s artistic works in progress.
With that, we are subject to His/our constant modification (growth), new perspectives of ourselves if we allow it, as well as the removal of and adding to the ever-evolving works of ar that we are.

GOD, THE SCULPTOR

Material is immaterial
Be it wood, stone or metal
God is the ultimate carver,
Sculptor and blacksmith.
And we, we are fashioned
According to His whims,
His fancies.

A calcified negative thought
Pattern sloughed off here.
There, a chunk of unwanted
History chiseled away, almost
Imperceptibly over time.

A silhouette entirely reshaped
Is not out of the question, either.

In His quest to make and remake
And model His precious art works,
Attention to sometimes-overlooked
Detail is called for.

Feelings and thoughts that serve not
The whole and which are trapped in
The cavities of disharmony have
No place in His gallery.

His tools? These are but the slow
And ever-deepening impulses that
Dust away the accumulated rubble
Of innumerable fears.

Aaah...now His handiwork breathes
With His new life, sparked into life
Anew ...

His sculptures are free; free now in
The image of God’s vision of Himself.
