APARTHEID AND RACISM NEVER DIED IN SOUTH AFRICA

“I’ve NEVER had a black person saying ‘stop talking about racism’ on the air” said unusually open-minded mainstream radio journalist, John Maytham, on a national talk radio station the other day.
He was fielding comments in response to ex estate agent, Penny Sparrow and company’s derogatory comments made about the nation’s Black majority.

Maytham’s been around forever and I’ve marked him as a rare breed that has enough empathy to try to understand the roots of this country’s continued simmering tensions appropos racism. Maytham’s one of a minority of a minority in South Africa and definitely amongst a mere handful in the White media who feel this way.
But I’m running away with myself.

Let’s start by saying our shadow government agents’ global bosses clearly decided 2016 would begin with a bang. In this country that would mean a racist bang begun by their spin doctors and the media to incite further hatred, mistrust and separation between both races which has so far worked quite well… from their perspective.

What the spin docs did didn’t exactly involve any rocket science. If the majority of the White minority of five million odd in South Africa feel anything kindly or humane towards Black people here, it is more often guilt. However, the vast majority of Whites feel anger, blame, disgust and most importantly, superiority, towards their fellow Blacks in the main. And have ever since I was aware of it and growing up in the 70’s.

Proof of that is in the typical comments of these three White people below who were picked for this psy op. But bear in mind it could have been any 20-something year old, any mature woman or middle-aged man, for that matter.

While it’s been easy in the past for English-speaking White South Africans to tag Afrikaans-speaking Whites as South Africa’s biggest racists, this latest agent exercise and its consequences has exposed most White South Africans across-the-board as being equally-potent bigots.

It all began when ex estate agent Penny Sparrow made the sort of typical remarks that I and many others like me have heard once too often in a social or workspace where Whites have gathered in a group, or around the braai (barbeque).

Here’s what she said about Black people on New Year’s day:

[Sparrow] “These monkeys that are allowed to be released on New years Eve And new years day on to public beaches towns etc obviously have no education what so ever and to allow them loose is inviting huge dirt and discomfort to others.”
“I do know some wonderful thoughtful black people. This lot of monkeys just don’t want to even try…From now I shall address the blacks of South Africa as monkeys as I see the cute little wild monkeys do the same pick drop and litter,” she added.

Now this is a typical response whether stated by a White out of Durban, Sparrow’s home city or Cape Town, my home city. I can’t count how many times during the usually very hot festive season I’ve heard local White people say: ‘I’m not going to the beach - it’s just too Black’. Or ‘There’s hardly a White face to be seen anywhere on the beach these days’.

English-speaking Penny Sparrow was merely echoing the selfsame sentiments that many other sparrows hiding in the tree branches of the leafy-white suburbs think and feel, even if they never publicly state it.
And I congratulate her for her public honesty and for stirring the hornet’s nest – albeit unwittingly and with much prompting from the shadow agents.

Another myth about the so-called ‘born free’s’ – those born post apartheid after 1994 and Mandela’s presidency - was also shattered during this exercise by 20-something Justin van Vuuren’s response to Sparrow, agreeing with her.

The fallacy about those born post-1994 is that these young Whites were born when apartheid was ‘dead’ and therefore couldn’t possibly possess any racist feelings or behaviours anymore.
Which has also consistently been proven wrong – demonstrating that environmental, cultural, social and family conditioning are far more powerful influences on the South African psyche than any political ideology could ever be. Because ultimately it's openness of mind and flexibility in challenging one's own emotional intelligence that's required in order to liberate oneself, which conditioned thinking immediately gets in the way of.

Here’s some of van Vuuren’s comments, pounced on by the spin docs to make a public example of:

“There is no control over these animals! Our promenade smells like piss and shit and I hate it! The municipality need to stop this!…Go back back [sic] to where you came from and take your 13 kids with you!…”

But it didn’t stop there. The spin docs then went further to pick on Standard Bank economist Chris Hart, who added to the brouhaha above by saying ‘victims [meaning Black people] are increasing, along with a sense of entitlement and hatred towards minorities’[meaning White people].

Say whaaat? What planet’s he living on, I want to know. Never mind which country. Is he sooo blind to the suffering of the vast majority? Has the world of banking and the privileges it brings so removed him from any and all insight into even a fraction of what faces the majority in their daily struggle?

I think not. Therefore his comments can only come from one of two places: either he needs to be in denial to justify his own existence and privileged lifestyle or he needs to be attacking those he feels guilty about, aka projection.

Hart has since been suspended from his place of employment, despite a public apology for his comments. Van Vuuren and Sparrow also issued public apologies, but the affected general public aren’t buying any of it.

Attack is most often the first line of defence. And Hart’s response is again the same as many White, middle-aged male business owners or those holding management/skilled positions in this country. Of which most still happen to be held by White men and women.

Of course, loads of Black people were outraged and incensed by this orchestrated exercise. Not realising it was that, in the main. One government employee, Velaphi Khumalo was so piqued he wrote:

"I want to cleans this country of all white people. we must act as Hitler did to the Jews. I don't believe any more that the is a large number of not so racist whit people. I'm starting to be sceptical even of those within our Movement the ANC. I will from today unfriend all white people I have as friends from today u must be put under the same blanket as any other racist white because secretly u all are a bunch of racist fuck heads. as we have already seen [all sic]," he wrote.

The expected backlash from those-who-must-never-be-questioned-lest-they-be-discovered-for-what-they-truly-are, the Jews, came fast and furiously.
Khumalo was subsequently pressured to issue an apology of his own and has deleted the Facebook page in question.

The moral/agent exercise of that last provocation?
It’s dual purpose was to instill subtle, subconscious oppression and repression - ironically, which was overt during apartheid. This silently suggests to any outraged persons, no matter how justified, that if you stand up and voice your true feelings on any injustice, you can expect negative repercussions in your life.

The exercise doubled up as a signal to any potential 2016 whistleblowers or activists also. The people must be reminded of who’s in charge of their minds and emotions, after all.

Where does all this lead us apropos shifts in consciousness towards being the liberated beings we are meant to be?

In my opinion, it leads us to a place where we can make yet another choice towards freeing our own consciousness and the collective of our country (or any other country on any other issue that raises enough public heat – what affects one, affects all!)

I, for one am immensely grateful to Penny Sparrow, Justin van Vuuren and Chris Hart. And those spin doc agents, more importantly.
What I mean is that all these negative feelings that have been simmering internally for years have now exploded into the public arena. And that the often-covert feelings of disgust, pseudo-tolerance and superiority White people feel towards Black people are up in everyones faces now.

Any one who thinks this entire exercise was not an engineered psy op needs to seriously rethink how and why you think yourself ‘free’ and unaffected regarding this subject of racism.
Because racist feeling in South Africa today is as ingrained as it’s ever been. And this is a major tool used by the KZ’s to maintain the necessary levels of collective obedience to their will via fear, anger, blame, etc in order to continue their success via the divide and rule syndrome.

The only people I’ve come across that haven’t bought into racist feelings wholesale are foreigners with the necessary distance living in the country or those few rare White South Africans that have taken ownership of themselves, seen through the contrived history and chosen to consciously break free of it in their own minds first.
In my observation the rest of the country are enslaved in either the victim or perpetrator role. Either of which means you're not in ownership of all of your Self.

But while the operation was designed to further enslave, it’s also shed Light on the greater truths.

And the true Light of God manifesting as goodwill amongst human beings is just too abhorrent for the KZ’s to even contemplate. Yet, despite their every good effort and continuous media psy ops like these in every country around the world, that Light does continue to seep in through the cracks in human consciousness.
It’s why, I believe, an increasing amount of mainstream media journalists are actually perceiving and more excitingly, publicly mentioning how certain stories are ‘distractions’. Hearing those comments is always a thrill-and-a-half for me!

So thank you shadow government agents and spin docs as this is an excellent place to start the healing – finally! And there’s enough people of goodwill in this land to capitalise on what you’ve started.
What you’ve also done unwittingly is to create a reference point from which many more, I’m hoping, will now be able to go forward in more honest dialogue together, an important basis for healing.
