Remembering Your Response-abilities by Monjoronson

REMEMBERING YOUR RESPONSE-ABILITIES

SK: Is that you Monjo? I’m ready for you…

M: I’m pleased to see you have yourself together and I want to thank you most sincerely for keeping to this scheduled meeting.

SK: *smile*. You know I’m working on reigning in my mental meanderings currently, trying to tame self into a more disciplined state, so…

M: Yes, it pleases our hearts no end to see your current progress.

SK: Really? *Doubtful*

M: Oh, it is that. Now, let us begin.

All of you who are reading this tonight need to take stock. By this I mean taking stock of yourself; of where you have come to. And what it you wish to achieve in your service to humanity.

The cooking pot of food referenced in a previous message by this scribe is about ready right now to boil over. All who are ready to help in the clean up need now step forward and be counted. No matter your level of readiness, if your desire is to serve your fellow man, now is the time.

Too many chances and opportunities have been given to all on your earth – both those who read of these messages and those who don’t. Mostly to no or little avail. Time for our advice is now passed, however, and it is time to get up off your couches and chairs and make your presence known in the immediate areas of your residence.

It is sad to see how very many of your young people have blunted their inner cores and senses by accepting the deep programming of your shortly to be ex planetary controllers. That many have not made it through this time around is a matter for contemplation and learning from, as are all things.

However, much is in the pipeline that could see some from this sector of the population enjoying a major turnaround. All is not lost. It is more a question of how much each is willing to let go of.
And this scribe knows all too well of the struggles encountered in this department. In allowing new feelings and new ways of thinking about old things, one is also inviting a state of grace to flourish within.

*A big smile with some kind of open-armed gesture* We welcome all of you graduates most warmly. Too many of you do not give yourself the due credit for what you have achieved. The small percentage of you have achieved wondrous things. And you are to finally have the satisfaction of knowing exactly what it is you have achieved. So much is now to reveal itself. You have been flailing around in the dark for long enough.

May you all take the understanding and the responsibility that goes with such knowledge deeply to heart. And live your days cultivating a heart that listens, a being that springs forth compassion at every turn ( yet is boundaried and has self-loving compassion first) and one who has a benign nature, regardless of how others may choose to respond to you. As well as a greatly patient response to the requirements and needs of others in your midst.

When all is said, no more than that which you can carry within you right now can be shared and used to benefit others. And as you do, know that ever more shall be given unto you. Ever more that will be multiplied that you might feed the starving masses with your words of comfort and upliftment, kind and loving gestures, insights and discernment. That they too might desire to walk in the footsteps of that which they see before them.

For it will be you, as examples, that will, to a large degree, dictate through the power of influence, the next moves that individuals will choose to make. Do not underestimate the power of your ability to influence. And therefore this is extra reason to make sure your expression is ethical, above and beyond all else.

We are not suggesting here you are to be responsible in any way for these upcoming choices that will be made by those around you. But we do wish for you to understand the power of persuasion and influence you potentially hold. This is not to be taken for granted nor be used to lord over others.

We think this is enough for the time being.

All of you are most treasured and most loved. Particularly those who have not given up on their missions, despite their circumstances.

I AM Monjoronson, signing off and out.

Are Cats Spies Sent By Aliens?

For anyone that's moggy about moggies as I am, here's a nice light-hearted piece on who felines might really be and what their true mission is on earth...;-)

Are Cats Spies Sent by Aliens? A Deep Examination of One of the Internet's Best Conspiracy Theories

By Austin Considine

Are those big eyes recording your every move for their alien masters? One conspiracy theory says yes. Image by Keith Kissel via Wikimedia Commons

Attention cat people. There’s a burgeoning theory around the internet that begs reckoning. It’s not the theory that parasites in cat poop are turning you into crazy cat ladies, though that’s certainly cause for alarm. It’s much worse than that.

Domestic house cats, it seems, may be alien sentinels—sent to spy on us and report their findings back to the mother ship. Or, as some theorists have put it, they’re like alien camcorders tracking our every move.

Well, maybe. We humans love our conspiracy theories, and there’s a decent chance this is just another among them. As a poll published just yesterday reveals, 51 percent of Americans believe the JFK assassination was a conspiracy; 15 percent believe “the government or the media adds mind-controlling technology to TV broadcast signals”; and 4 percent believe reptilian shapeshifters control the government.

It’s impossible to know just how pervasive cats-as-alien spies theory is without an adequate polling apparatus (if you have one, please get in touch). One guesses it’s fairly low. Then again, 4 percent is much higher than one might have expected for the lizard people theory, and, according to the same poll, some 29 percent of Americans believe aliens exist and 14 percent believe in Bigfoot, so who knows?

As with most conspiracy theories, the cats-as-alien-spies theory is surprisingly well-developed—and based on a few kernels of truth and genuine ambiguity. How much? Motherboard decided to take a look at some of the supporting premises, one-by-one. A user who goes by the moniker “RedSpider” summarizes the prevailing wisdom in a handy list on the British tech message board, Digital Kaos. I’ve appropriated his/her list here (lightly edited for style and clarity), with the original points bolded.

Examine the evidence and decide for yourself:

1. There is no documentation before ancient Egypt that mentions the existence of cats. And in ancient Egypt, they were worshipped as gifts from the gods.

As with several of these premises, these propositions are mostly true, but also somewhat disputable. To find out more about the fossil record, I emailed Ryan Haupt, a paleontologist at the University of Wyoming who, as he described it for a previous interview, “studies the lives of modern mammals to better understand what their extinct relatives were doing in the past.” He said Egypt was “the best guess” for the origin of the domestic cat species, but noted that “cat skeletons have been found at older sites.”

Exporting domestic cats was illegal in ancient Egypt, according to Wild Cats of the World, a book by Mel and Fiona Sunquist, which may explain why they don’t appear definitively in the records of other civilizations until thousands of years later than early cat records in Egypt. What older feline skeletons have been found elsewhere don’t provide clear “evidence as to whether they were domesticated or not,” Haupt said, adding, however, that they “probably” weren’t.

“Looking at just skeletons it's basically impossible to say when cats stopped being wild and started being domesticated.” Haupt said.

As for cat worship, the picture is a bit more complicated than the conspiracy theorist asserts. Cats were, indeed, revered by the ancient Egyptians, the Sunquists write. Cats were beloved as pets; they were mourned like family members when they died; they were embalmed and buried with varying degrees of pomp according to its owner’s wealth; cat cemeteries were plotted along the banks of the Nile; the penalty for killing a cat was death. But cats weren’t simply viewed as gifts from the gods. Some of the Egyptian gods were cats, like Bastet, the goddess of joy and love. One ancient Egyptian papyrus depicts Ra, the sun god, as a knife-wielding cat with spots.

I tried by Twitter and e-mail to contact everyone’s favorite Ancient Aliens theorist and founder of Legendary Times Books, Giorgio Tsoukalos to get his opinion, but he didn’t reply.

2. Science is baffled by a cat's purr, and cannot determine how the sound is produced. (Feedback, much?)

I’m not entirely sure what “Feedback much?” means, unless it means that a cat’s purr is some kind of transmission feedback, similar to a cell phone’s when held near a speaker. But the broader assertion is, again, partly true.

For this, I started with a bit of internet research. That science doesn’t know why cats purr is often taken for granted around the internet, but that only tells part of the story. It’s true that cats possess no special organ for purring. But science does know a thing or two. As noted in a WebMD article:

A rhythmic, repetitive neural oscillator [in the brain] sends messages to the laryngeal muscles, causing them to twitch at the rate of 25 to 150 vibrations per second (Hz). This causes a sudden separation of the vocal cords, during both inhalation and exhalation - the unique feline vibrato.

“Opera singing for cats,” is what animal behaviorist Karen L. Overall, VMD, PhD calls it. But the purr is usually so low-pitched that we tend to feel it as much as hear it.

I contacted Dr. Ken Simpson, of Monon Animal Hospital, my vet back in my hometown of Indianapolis to ask what the latest veterinary science said. (Full disclosure, he’s also my uncle.) He said the “physiology remains a slight enigma,” but noted that vets have learned a few fascinating things about purring over the years.

“To me, purring is a method of communication that may be derived when the laryngeal folds are dilated with blood due to excitement from stimulation,” he wrote to me. “As air flows through the folds, a vibration occurs which creates the sound heard. I have also heard that diaphragm movement against over-inflated lung tissue contributes sounds to the purr. In my experience, cats with asthma and hyperinflated lungs have a slightly louder purr.”

There’s evidence the behavior is learned, he noted. He described a deaf cat, for example, who never purred. Another cat patient of his had meningitis as a kitten and was learning-impaired as a result; that cat never purred either. Case studies like that lend themselves to the notion that cat purring does indeed, originate in the brain, and Simpson said he saw “no reason to doubt” the “neural oscillation” theory.

Still there’s a certain point where the knowledge plateaus: What, exactly, is the neural oscillator? Why, exactly, does neural oscillation exist? And why, in behavioral terms, do cats purr? Those questions remain a bit of a mystery. Alien bio-technology? Transmission signals? It’s doubtful, considering some wild cats, like cheetahs, purr as well.

3. If you hold a cat's ears back and describe what you see, it is a perfect match to the classic “grey alien,” with its almond-shaped eyes, small mouth, and small nose.

Obviously true. See below. Next premise.

Left to right, images via Flickr and Wikimedia Commons

4. A cat can see exponentially better than you. Making it appear that it must be more advanced evolutionarily speaking. How?

The extrapolated version of this, as I’ve gathered from other cat-as-alien-spy internet detritus, says that cats stare at us with those big eyes because they are, in fact, alien cameras, recording and beaming our actions back to the grey aliens that put them here. I can’t find any evidence of anything but standard neuronal circuitry in a cat’s brain, but one never knows. We humans have recently managed to build a computer out of living cells, so who knows what alien technology may be hidden in the feline brain?

Leaving that aside, the idea of a cat’s eyes being “exponentially better” and that translating into evidence of irrationally advanced evolution is, of course, absurd.

Cats eyes have more “rods” in them than “cones”—the former are responsible for providing black-and-white images, which makes them crucial for night vision; the latter add color and help us discern details. Cats, thus, have better night vision, but they only “see better” depending on your definition. I like seeing in color, so if you suddenly gave me cat’s eyes, I wouldn’t describe my vision as “better” at all.

A cat’s eyes do have a second advantage with regard to night vision. As this New York Times article explains:

Cats also have elliptical pupils that open and close faster and can become larger than our round ones. In addition, cats and some other nocturnal animals have a mirrorlike membrane, the tapetum, on the back of their eyes, which reflects the light passing through the rods back through them in the opposite direction. This “double exposure” allows cats to see well in near darkness.

But suppose we were to grant that cats had “better” vision because they can see better in some ways. That would mean, yes, that its eyes (but not the whole cat) were “more advanced evolutionarily speaking.” But dogs smell better than we do. So do bees and mice, for that matter. Cheetahs run faster, birds fly better and elephants kick more ass generally. Are they aliens, too? Doubtful. If any species presents a real anomaly, it’s us, with our enormous brains, which are three times bigger than nature typically grants its animals proportionally. I would like to go on the record here to state that if anything is related to aliens, it’s probably us.

5. Ever watch a cat wake from a deep sleep and run out of the room in an instant? Transmissions from the mothership coming in, and they must be alone.

We’ve all seen this happen and I can’t find an answer. Evidence of alien collaboration? Put it in the “maybe” column.

6. All things that come out of cats are totally unnatural. (Not of this earth.)

This , too, is absurd. Hairballs are disgusting but totally natural considering cats are hair and all they do is lie around and lick themselves all day. As for their urine and excrement, I don’t see how it’s any different than any other mammal’s, other than its smelling particularly foul.

7. Cats survive situations that any earthbound animal would surely perish in. How can a cat fall out of a four-story building backwards, and land on its feet? (Anti-gravity properties.)

This is partly true. Cats are great hunters, and would probably outlive us humans in the wild if we and our cats were suddenly stranded on an uncharted desert isle or in a post-apocalyptic situation. But so would a lot of wild animals. The landing-on-feet scenario notwithstanding (more on that below), it’s hard to conceive of a natural situation in which cats will always survive better than “any earthbound animal.”

But that landing-on-its-feet thing is no joke. It’s nuts. Folks at the Smarter Every Day YouTube channel offer some great slow-motion footage of a few cat-drops using a high-speed camera. As the host explains, the flipping cat problem was a mystery since time immemorial. Today physicists know a lot more about it, and the physics observed in flipping cats has helped teach scientists how to operate space telescopes.

As series host Destin Sandlin, a mechanical engineer and rocket tester, notes, on the surface a cat appears to violate the physical law of conservation of angular momentum. “I’ve studied freefalling bodies—my own, in fact—in several different environments, and once I get my angular rotation started in one direction, I can’t stop it,” he says.

But when the cat’s freefall is slowed down, it’s clear the cat does not violate the law. It’s just extremely, extremely agile. In physics terms it’s complicated, but it has everything to do with the way the cat arches its back, extends and retracts its legs, and, in doing so, rotates its body along two separate rotational axes.

So while the theory of anti-gravity properties is certainly appealing, it doesn’t, shall we say, carry weight.

8. If you die, your cats will eat you. Not really a link between cats and Aliens, but still pretty creepy.

By all accounts this is true. In 2010, for example, about a dozen cats were found eating the corpse of a northwestern Pennsylvania man who was found dead there with his mother.

But as Chris Gayomali notes for The Week, cats aren’t the only pets that eat their owners after they die. Some pets kill their owners then eat them. Gayomali’s article includes examples of pet pigs, pythons, a pet hippo, lizards and others, including a pair of Nebraskan pugs who survived on their owner’s body for two weeks after he killed himself.

Now may be a good time for a bit more journalistic disclosure by saying that I am, in fact, a dog person. I would happily believe that cats are the only pets that eat their owners if so compelled. But it simply isn’t true. Brian Palmer notes in this Slate article that history is rife with examples of dogs eating dead humans, even the corpses of their owners. (Apparently, Palmer notes, there is even a theory among some scholars that Jesus’ body was eaten by dogs and that “his acolytes fabricated the story of a reverential entombment as a sort of coping mechanism.”)

Our conspiracy theory friends are correct that this is creepy, indeed. But it’s hardly evidence that cats are alien drones.

Going 'Insane' For Service

Hello dear readers!

The energies...they are intensifying. Are they not? Can you feel the heat...?

My personal day of resolution draws ever closer. And it cannot come quickly enough. Apologies for yet again sounding cryptic...;-) but all will be revealed. Actually, I'm itching to do so.

One of my cats believes I'm 'obstinate and thick' and is not very happy with me at the mo :-) I mean, how long can it possibly take to 'get' a seemingly-simple lesson, I can almost hear her thinking.
But then, she doesn't have 16 personalities to deal with on a daily basis. Excuses, excuses...I know!

What I (only half) jokingly call 'my 16 personalities' is not unlike the books, 'Sybil'and 'The Three Faces Of Eve'. Which got me to thinking yet again how severely ignorant we are on this planet. And really liking to be so, it seems. Take the fact that labelled disorders such as scizophrenia and bipolar to conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (which I myself had for six years!) are so very misunderstood.
Mainly because it is highly in the interest of medical science to encourage misunderstandings. Yet, all it takes to question the validity of medical science's claims is to do a bit of research these days.

If it was know, for instance, that such conditions had their roots not in so-called psychologicial or psychiatric disorders, but in very real psycho-spiritual and psychic ones, what state would the medical and more importantly, the pharmaceutical industry globalwide be in? A very sorry one, I'd say.

Accepting such 'psychiatric disordered' labels and the identity that goes with them is a distraction taking you away from the truth of the cause. And only serves to retard your growth through brain and mind-numbing chemical drugs, if you buy into that to find resolution.

And too few 'victims' will even consider thinking outside the box they've been so comfortably enticed into. After all, the doctor justifies their behaviour and need for the drug. And voila! Your 'illness' now has an official stamp of approval.

Owning and exploring the root causes of such an illness is far more difficult and requires longer-term effort on your part. But those who are brave and open-minded enough to explore this, find out the truth. And that is that these mental illnesses and disorders are more often than not, nothing more than soul walk-ins and entities that unknowingly attach to the field of the human being. That is to say: soul aspects independent of 'you', yet still operating through you!
Which then accounts for the many weird changes of your internal and external world, change in your response/behaviours to people and in general, what you and others would note as a major personality 'shift'. Amongst many other symptoms.

In the case of the latter, much theory and research has been done. But it is usually clear and skilled counsellors that can 'see' such lower-vibrating entities. These are common particularly in the case of those humans with addictions of all types.

However, everything has both a dark and a light side. It's all a question of choice. And this and many other types of soul contracts are available on the planet right now. It all depends on what you're choosing.

If you're motivated to help humanity in any way consciously, you could be in the process of attracting or have already attracted and begun a process of anchoring in a walk-in/braided walk-in/soul merge/soul composite or any other similar contract designed for the highest good of yourselves and humanity through service. And I'm not for a second saying the majority are choosing walk-in contracts, just that it's become much more common than before.

The thing is, these contracts are made on a soul level between the two souls/Oversoul aspects concerned. So there's often no prior knowledge of all this during the prep time (which can last between days and years, depending on what you've chosen). And sometimes the contract only consciously reveals itself to you when you are ready and someone else/someone skilled in this arena points it out to you.

Once you know what has/is occurring, it comes as a relief and can be responsible for explaining much in your world. The walk-in phenomena often accounts for the many weird changes of your internal and external world; changes in your response/behaviours to people and in general, what you and others would note as a major personality 'shift'. There's said to be as many as a million walk-ins on the planet right now.
With many offering contracts when born-ins have just 'had enough and want off the planet'; people who just want to be released or suicide attempters.
The process of the walk-in arriving is equally varied. For some it can happen seamlessly, while for many others it may be during a traumatic event, such as a suicide, an accident or illness.

Apparently tailormade to suit the the two souls concerned, they can be incredibly varied with no two being identical.

A better understanding of the whole phenomenon is below. I'm particularly intrigued by composite merges/walk-ins when numerous aspects from the Oversoul join (permanently or temporarily)with the born in persona. All rearing their heads, so to speak, at different times to express their respective wisdom! Now keeping yourself sane through all that would be one incredible feat.
As I was saying...about Sybil...

A question to one of my IF's (invisible friends)recently was: 'Are these types of 'insane' contracts amongst the most positive expressions of service to humanity? *tongue-in-cheek*.

The way I'm feeling right now is that it's more a case of high order New Earth entertainment is en route to the planet via such...just in case we needed anything extra to spice it all up down here. Not that I'm being facetious, you understand ;-)

Soul Transfers (Walk-Ins)

Next, let's consider the subject of "soul transfers", more commonly known as "walk-ins". One of the early books on this subject, Strangers Among Us, was written by Ruth Montgomery in the mid-1970's. A "walk-in", as she introduced the concept, is a situation in which the soul that has been associated with an embodiment since birth agrees to leave the body and make it available to be embodied by a different soul. There are various reasons why a soul might agree to do this. For example, it may involve a person that is very discouraged with life, and no longer wants to live. So, rather than going through the death of the physical body, the original soul may make it available for another soul to embody. The "incoming" soul has to agree to take on all of the "karmic" responsibilities of that life, such as children (if there are any) or perhaps aged parents, and so on.

In every walk-in situation, there must be complete agreement between the outgoing and incoming souls. But since the agreements are made at the soul level, the human self may not be aware that a soul transfer (walk-in) has been agreed to. And since the incoming soul inherits the memory of the body that it comes into, the human self is usually not aware, at least initially, that a soul transfer has taken place.

In Ruth Montgomery's book, she indicated that an incoming soul is almost always a more evolved soul that the outgoing soul. This gave rise to an impression that if someone is a "walk-in", they must be a very evolved person. While it is true that a soul must be at a certainly level of evolutionary development before it is permitted to come in as a walk-in, and it is also true that many of the souls who came in as walk-ins during the 1970's and 1980's were highly evolved "Lightworkers" souls, many of the souls who have come in as walk-ins during the past few decades have struggled to acclimate to the human life situation they have entered. And more than a few have allowed themselves to be diverted from their soul's mission and purpose.

There have also been some misconceptions about the circumstances under which the actual soul transfer takes place. The earlier perspectives were that the transfer almost always took place in conjunction with a traumatic situation, such as a car accident or severe illness. Although that seems to be true in some cases, there are many soul transfers that seem to take place rather seamlessly, without trauma involved. It is true, however, that in some cases trauma tends to shatter rigid energy patterns, making it easier for the incoming soul to integrate into the human form.

Although most soul transfers seem to take place in mid-life, they occasional take place during the first few years of life, or even in the senior years. And a few people have undergone multiple walk-in experiences, separated by a few years, or in some cases several years.

The most noticeable and challenging issues for an incoming soul is that it quite likely will not have the same feelings for family members and friends . . . this tends to especially apply to spouses. So quite often marriages do not survive long after a soul transfer takes place.

What are the advantages for a soul to come in as a walk-in rather than through the natural birth process? Assuming that the soul transfer takes place in mid-life, the incoming soul can focus on its mission and purpose much more quickly, without having to go through the stages of infancy and growing up years. The risks are that it is all too easy to become entrapped in personality patterns that are already well established . . . patterns that may not be supportive to the life plan of incoming soul.

Soul "Braiding"

Soul "braiding" is a term used to describe a process whereby a new soul merges into an existing embodiment, but the original birth soul does not leave. It is similar to the process described earlier in which more than one soul of an oversoul cluster enter into the same embodiment. Soul braiding, however, can also involve the merging in of a soul from a different soul cluster. In this sense, it becomes more like a "hybrid".

Also, soul braiding sometimes involves a more temporary situation, whereby a new soul merges in for a period of time, and then later withdraws. For example, one case we are aware of involved a soul who had never been embodied on earth before, who wanted to experience what it was like to be embodied in human form here on Earth for a few days before making a decision to embody for a full lifetime. Another example would be a situation in which a soul with special talents and abilities may want to come into an embodiment for a year or two to carry out a special mission.

Entities ("uninvited guests")

Now let's shift gears and discuss a very different situation, but one that could be confused with the walk-in or braiding situation.

When a soul completes a lifetime here on Earth, it is intended that the soul will return to the higher realms, and resume their evolutionary journey in those realms. However, in some cases, a soul may be unwilling or unable to fully separate itself from the human realm. This may be for a variety of different reasons. One of the more common reasons involves addictive behavioral patterns such as alcohol or drug abuse, gambling addiction, or sexual addictions.

In such cases, when the soul leaves (through death) the body in which the addictive behavior patterns were formed, it is attracted to places or situations in which living humans are involved in these behaviors, such as bars, gambling casinos, strip joints or bordellos. However, when the soul is no longer in a physical body, it can only observe other humans that are involved in these behaviors, but it cannot experience the feelings of the addictive behaviors. The only way they can do that is to merge into the embodiment of someone who is involved in these behaviors, and experience it through that person's body. All too often in such cases, the wayward soul then becomes "entrapped" in the body of the other person, and does not know how to leave, or perhaps does not want to leave.

From the perspective of the person who has been invaded by the wayward soul, it is what is commonly referred to as being "possessed", or as having an "entity" within the body. The best protection from being invaded by such a disembodied entity is to maintain a strong and healthy energy field, and of course, to avoid addictive behaviors. Unfortunately, drugs and alcohol severely weaken ones energy field, and makes such a person especially vulnerable to intrusion.

There are other situations which commonly attract entities. Most common are situations that involve "emotional vulnerability". An example would be a person who becomes distraught over the death of a family member or friend. Such a person might then attract a disembodied entity who would, with all good intentions, attempt to console them. If the entity is not careful, however, it can become entrapped in the body of the distraught person. And frequently such entrapments continue on for many years . . . in some cases, a lifetime.

From the perspective of the person with the attached entity, it is never a healthy situation, regardless of whether the original intent of the entity was for selfish pleasures, or compassionate supportiveness. First and foremost, having an attached entity is a drain on the energy level of the body. Secondly, it can result in personality disorders . . . if the attached entity had a strong or abusive personality, that can at times overshadow the personality of the person involved. And thirdly, having an attached entity can create a severe distraction from the life plan of the person involved.

We have found that if a person has one attached entity, it is likely that they will have more than one. And the more entities a person has, the greater the drain on their energy level. We believe that many cases of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are essentially nothing more than a situation involving attached entities.

How does one know if a person has one or more attached entities? Inconsistency in personality characteristics is one of the most common indicators . . . sometimes pleasant, but at other times coarse or abusive. Also, a person with attached entities tends to avoid direct eye contact . . . the entities are in effect "hiding" inside, and they are afraid that they might be seen . . . and indeed they can be seen by skilled spiritual counselor.

We are aware of two spiritual counselors who are particularly adept at recognizing and facilitating the release of attached entities. They can be found at: www.acrossdimensions.com or www.heart-soul-healing.com.

Human Tissue Found In Burger Meat

In the light of the recent European meat findings, has the cannibal theme from the 1973 movie, Soylent Green, already manifested in our world and supermarkets and we just haven’t known it yet?

In the movie a global food shortage sees people surviving on government-issued rations of supposed plankton-rich food called Soylent. Which turns out to be a processed ‘food’ - made from the bodies of dead humans!
Well, here follows another clue…

And this time, it’s happening right here in South Africa. Of course, like all other travesties of justice against the people of this land, the recent deplorable findings of human tissue in burger meat have been severely downplayed.

For years I’ve been telling people that the meat in our fast food joints is not what people think it is. I’ve said it’s probably horse meat and god/goddess-alone-knows-what else!

Corroborating this in 2011, findings of the National Consumer Forum discovered all sorts of criminal acts at work when the Orion Cold Storage company scandal broke. Amongst them, allegations that this company was importing Australian kangaroo meat and re-labelling it as Halaal beef (leading to religiously-jeopardise both the huge Muslim and small Jewish communities here also) and importing Irish and Belgian pork, re-labelling them as Halaal sheep/veal.

Due to high level corruption and collusion in the area of both labelling fraud amongst the relevant government department/authorities and Muslim authorities that together should have been responsible for immediately shutting down or at least suspending that company’s activities, supermarket fridges continued to be supplied by the company who's activities remain 'protected'.
A few brave voices in the wilderness continued vain attempts to bring legal action against them.

But Orion Cold Storage is far from the only company doing this. There’s been a proliferation of water buffalo passed off as beef in retail outlets: camel meat, horse, goat and donkey meat found in meats not labelled as such; all being passed off as other more-acceptable meat cuts. And who knows how many years this has been happening for...how many years the human population have been eating such meats without their knowledge. Unlike in Europe, though, where corporates and government authorities are forced into accountability, authorities here protect and side with the criminal companies instead! The the process usually becomes one where the whistleblowing individual/association is villified publicly and warred against in the media or ignored enough until they shut up. Then everyone can happily return to their illegal commission-collecting and criminal activities relatively unscathed. Followed shortly thereafter by the public's loss of memory on the subject.

Most recently, the very popular South African kudu biltong (dried meat like jerky) has now been found in 92% of cases to contain kangaroo, giraffe and horse meat! This is a huge industry in South Africa.

It’s easy for manufacturers and suppliers to and in South Africa to get away with such practises. Despite our grand constitution, none of the human-rights and consumer protection bills are policed. And thus just a tiny percent of the label requirements of foodstuffs are adhered to. Ditto GMO crops. If I remember right, about 70% of all crops grown in South Africa are GMO'd. One of the world's highest. We’re truly a perfect breeding ground for all kinds of ‘guinea pig’ experimentation on the human race here.

South Africa has long been known by those in positions of power worldwide as one of the top places to hide out in (for international criminals, syndicates and celebrities alike); an excellent place for the financial abuse of consumers (why Barclays Bank returned here to obtain their ‘fair’ share of the spoils, amongst many other multinational corporations and organisations) and a welcome spot for the continued thriving of the global sex and drug trafficking rings.
Due to self-censored fear and total consumer apathy, all in all we offer up a most inviting land. As well as offering first world technology here coupled with international-level professionals, including scientists.

So, unless you’ve managed to reach that rarefied state called breatharianism where your body is sustained on air alone and no longer needs food of any kind, then this is relevant to you, too.

Personally, all this hasn’t affected me as I committed to a vegetarian diet (ovo lacto) many, many years ago. Or has it? After reading this, the likelihood of a human tissue or gene in my tomato is way closer than just a remote possibility.

The horse meat fiasco in Europe has prodded scientists to look a bit deeper into what else we might be consuming. A team of South African scientists have just found traces of human tissue in meat meant for public consumption from 9 provinces.
A University of Stellenbosch scientist and his team conducted a microbial analysis that revealed traces of human elements, but said that slaughterhouse workers sometimes cut themselves . . . or other things . . . which could lead to the findings.

Despite the overall findings that consumers have absolutely no idea what they are eating – including human remnants – in 85% of the products, SA’s Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries deputy director-general downplayed it by asserting that we are not becoming unwitting cannibals.

We’d like to think that these food scandals are safe from us – overseas, it’s their problem. But, big problems are usually systemic and many of the developed nations are on the same platform. As with most food scandals, they go on for years unnoticed before the beans are spilled.

It doesn’t sound like anyone’s literally being run through the meat grinder just yet, but it’s a startling fact that we don’t know much about what our food comes into contact with. And we have scientists and regulatory agencies continually asserting how safe our food supply is.

Are you unsettled at the prospect of ingesting someone else’s particles and blood? Do you wonder what else will be found when the next scientific investigation is conducted in your country?

Perhaps we should be asking ourselves before each meal, “Hey, who’s in there? How’d they get in there? Anyone missing?”

From Times Live:

It has also been found that only 15% of meat being sold has been correctly labelled, which means 85% of the meat in the market is questionable. The findings were presented in parliament yesterday at a briefing on meat inspections.

University of Stellenbosch scientist Louw Hoffman said his team had conducted a microbial food analysis, a "snapshot" which sometimes picked up human DNA on meat samples. He said, however, this was not indicative of risk.

"If I walked into a factory, and the sample I randomly selected to test was a meat sample of which the person de-boning had just picked his nose and then touched the meat, I would get a totally different microbial reading," he said.

Hoffman said the products examined were mostly sausages and mince, and that 95 out of 139 products which were sampled were incorrectly labelled.

But Hoffman said though the meat was incorrectly labelled, there were no health risks to consumers.

Briefing parliament's portfolio committee on agriculture, forestry and fisheries, University of Western Cape forensic scientist Dr Eugenia D'Amato said nearly 43% of samples she had tested which were labelled as game, were, in fact, beef.

D'Amato said horse meat had also been used as a substitute for springbok in biltong, and pork was found in ostrich sausages.

There was also a smaller proportion of kangaroo in samples.

The health department's Mandisa Hlela said though the department's own sampling had found that only 15% of meat products had been correctly labelled, DNA testing was "quite expensive" and was mainly a municipal function.

The department paid about R30000 for 20 samples tested.

"However, we've gone through to the municipalities and the D-Day was the 24th [of March] and we've not received responses from all of them," said Hlela.

She said, however, that not all of the nine provinces had concluded the devolutions of health services, which included food inspection, to municipalities.

MPs have now called for increased policing of local and imported meat products to prevent this sort of mislabelling.

The ANC's Eugene Ngcobo said labelling had to be "fair and straight" so that consumers were informed when they bought either horse or donkey meat.

"We should know, and have a choice," said Ngcobo.

Hoffman said what was also worrying was that allergens were not listed, and that up to 20% of consumers risked allergic reactions to the plant allergens which were found in some of the meat products.

"In the labelling regulations it clearly states that allergens have to be mentioned and noted," said Hoffman.

Kangaroo sold as kudu biltong

Most of South Africa's biltong - dried strips of cured meat and a much loved snack - has little to do with the ingredients on the label, according to DNA test results published on Friday (1 March).
Game biltong which is popular with the health conscious, as it is considered lean and free-range, is the most mislabelled, according the study by scientists from the University of the Western Cape.

"The finding was that there is a major substitution of species in the market," said researcher Maria Eugenia D'Amato.

Of the 146 samples tested over 100 contained undeclared meat species. All the samples marked beef were correctly labelled, but for the most badly labelled case 92% of packets of kudu biltong contained different species such as horse, giraffe, pork, beef and even kangaroo.

Researchers were concerned that one sample labelled zebra, contained meat from a mountain zebra, a species threatened with extinction.

"Some of the substitutions are intentional because kangaroo does not occur in South Africa and it must have been imported," D'Amato told AFP.

Pork in ostrich meat

"Also finding pork in ostrich sausage, that is intentional, there is no way that is going to be a mistake," she said pointing out that such actions infringed on some people's religious beliefs such as Jewish and Muslims who do not eat pork

The study, published in the European scientific journal BioMed Central, was conducted between 2009 and last year.

It is the first study of its kind in South Africa and entirely unlinked to the horse meat scandal that has riveted Europe.

Game biltong is a huge business in South Africa where over 10,000 wildlife farms are listed.

The meat is seen as healthier than beef because it is leaner, contains low cholesterol and no hormones or antibiotics that get injected into domestic farm animals.

South Africa authorities said last week they had launched an "urgent" investigation into how unlabelled donkey, water buffalo and goat meat got into products sold in supermarkets, following findings of a separate study.

The government requested the probe after reports created "some alarm and panic" after irregular ingredients were revealed in a Stellenbosch University study.

In that study, up to 68% of 139 meat samples from shops and butcheries had irregular ingredients, with pork and chicken most often substituted for other meats.

Plant matter was also found in the minced meat, burger patties, sausages and deli and dried meat.

Europe has been battling its own food drama after horse-meat was found in so-called beef ready-made meals and burgers in several countries.
